Candidate Profile: Account Manager Digital Marketing

Established Account Manager with at least 2 years of relevant digital marketing experience

Positive attitude, ability to multi task plus have excellent inter personal skills

2 years minimum relevant experience and an understanding of search marketing across different channels/routes

Confident communicator, with the ability to present to clients’, across a range of levels and establish relationships with them and all key stakeholders

Experience of managing and juggling the demands of several projects at the same time

This role reports into an AD


Job Description ; Account Manager Digital Marketing

Develop strong, enduring relationships with your client contacts

Maximise the value clients receive from their relationship with our company

Be on the lookout for proactive ways to increase the work we do for our clients

Manage the client relationship and be the ‘glue’ in terms managing all the internal teams to effectively deliver digital solutions for clients on time, and on budget

Have a clear understanding of the clients’ business, its competitors and its objectives

Facilitate and oversee the operational delivery, driving performance and delivering results that meet client objectives, and maintain an ongoing conversation/rapport with your clients

Prepare and present regular performance summaries across the client portfolio


  • To help deliver marketing services for the retail industry 
  • To support the account group to deliver client work in an accurate and timely manner
  • To anticipate and rectify issues before they become a problem
  • To build a sound commercial awareness and demonstrate this through the achievement of business objectives
  • Develop & maintain a strong relationship with the client and consistently strive to exceed their expectations.
  • Ensure that Account Executives, Creative, Production and Art Workers do the same
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the client and their organisation
  • Develop and continue a good understanding of store operations
  • Manage client expectations and create raving fans out of them
  • Offer daily support to the account group
  • Support the Account Director and Senior Account Manager with ad hoc work
  • Support team members, designers in the pursuit of delivering the highest standard of service to the client
  • Work closely with supporting organisations to understand their ways of working and continue to build strong relations
  • Ensure all third party suppliers are kept in the loop at all times regarding bookings and print requirements

Skills & Knowledge

  • IT literate, preferably on Macs
  • Know and understand the client’s organisation and market
  • Ability to juggle numerous tasks at once and deliver all effectively
  • Ability to delegate work to achieve the best results and is an effective people manager
  • Strong understanding of internal briefing and production process’s
  • Full knowledge of internal working processes
  • Previous experience of briefing process is essential
  • Works as a strong team player
  • Experience of presenting is essential
  • Has experience of running brainstorming sessions/listening groups
  • Report writing experience is essential
  • Be able to look and act professional at all times (business and social with clients)
  • Willingness to become the champion of the client’s business
  • Display confidentiality at all times with regards to the company and client business
  • Display a good understanding of print, production, repro and media, including costs
  • Has a full understanding of the invoicing process, mark-ups and charge out rates for each client
