Position Summary

The position is predominantly an outbound sales role. The role performs a number of duties focusing on customer satisfaction and coordinating sales team activities. It will track reports, forward phone calls, greet customers, schedule appointments, follow up on sales calls, and sell a variety of waste management services. In that capacity, your duties will include preparing multiple types of sales documents and producing related reports. This position primarily works in an office setting during regular business hours. The position will suit someone looking to progress their career in sales and possibly field sales in future.

 

Essential Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated below:

  • Speaking to potential new customers and sales enquiries and quoting over the phone.
  • Outbound calling to target specific sectors and projects.
  • Prepare, administer and coordinate new business quotations, proposals, bids, orders, contracts and specifications in an efficient manner.
  • Assisting the Sales Team with quotes / contracts.
  • Updating the company data management system (Purgo) with sales information.
  • Preparing and sending emails relating to enquiries and sales calls.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • MS Office
  • A good understanding of data management systems such as Purgo.
  • Experience of a CRM system such as Salesforce Software.
  • Be familiar with and understand Adobe e-sign Software.
  • Possess good telephone manor.
  • A great attention to detail.
  • Be a highly organised individual.
  • Have excellent customer services skills.
  • Good negotiations techniques.
