Our client is at the forefront of IoT in retail, life sciences, smart building, smart cities, manufacturing and more. They have built cloud platform that connects to physical assets such as Building Management Systems, Energy Meters, and Process Controllers and provides real-time insights for Energy Management, Control and other core functions. Their technology is deployed across the edge (inside customer facilities) and in the cloud.

The Delivery Manager will work with the Commercial and Technology teams to organise, manage and deliver medium to large scale deployments of the company’s technology to customers. The successful applicant will work closely with the leadership team and customers in order to see the end-to-end delivery of projects.

Day-to-day you communicate with different customers, suppliers and the team. You will responsible for planning, communicating and reporting on different aspects of the company’s priorities.


  • Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the end-to-end project (or multiple projects). 
  • Works with CEO, CCO and the rest of the leadership team to ensure that the business develops robust requirements, processes, training plans, training materials, communication plans, deployment plans and required procedural changes.
  • Communicate and provide visibility of the progress of the project(s), demonstrating control over both internal, supplier and partner progress. 
  • Ensures no customers or third parties are engaged in delivery work without commercial agreements in place using the agreed templates.
  • Be accountable for the assigned work’s content, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Responsible for developing highly effective relationships with customers and other team members at all levels in the organisation to deliver the best customer solutions.
  • Assuring the quality of the project following agreed quality assurance standards.
  • Regularly reviews the progress of the project(s) to ensure effective management of the change of requirements, milestones, risks etc and to improve the efficiency of resources.
  • Facilitate post-implementation reviews and disseminate learning to the wider team for use in future projects.
  • Recognised as one of the main contacts for a set of customers and suppliers.
  • Undertake business analysis activities on projects where necessary.

The Successful Person:

  • You will have a strong understanding and knowledge of working in cloud software or hardware solution businesses.
  • Experience managing technology projects. 
  • Experience with project management techniques especially project planning. 
  • Strong proficiency in presentation tools such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel is desired for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to identify risks, analyse risk factors and to suggest mitigations.
  • Understand and willingness to try new and existing business techniques.
  • A commercial perspective given the projects managed.
  • Financial acumen to manage small budgets and negotiate with suppliers if required.
  • Makes customer-oriented decisions and shares great stories of exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively takes responsibility, owns any issues arising and follows through to resolve them (get the required result) and recognises how individual responsibility impacts team delivery and inspires others to do the same.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, investors, partners, and customers to support the wider business agenda.
  • Remain focused on the priorities, using resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Takes all opportunities to communicate relevant information remaining mindful of the audience.
  • Experience in Energy, Industrial, Manufacturing or Facilities Management is desirable but not required.

  • Knowledge of electrical theory, physics or engineering is desired but not required
