Digital PR Specialist 

Up to £28K DOE

Our employees, consultants and freelancers wake up to the smell of coffee in Italy, nip out for a lunch with friends in Barcelona, go for a hike in the Lake District of an after-work jog on the beaches of Greece, all while delivering top-class work for their clients and projects daily.


This is not your usual Digital PR role. And we’re not your usual agency. Joining us as a Digital PR Specialist means you’ll have a pivotal role in developing and executing PR & News Generation strategies and campaigns across a variety of clients, industries, and markets. You will be responsible for reaching client KPIs and owning your campaigns and projects.

The role is not vertical, meaning that you’ll also have the opportunity of lending a hand on new business, competitor/marketing research, awards, marketing initiatives (from awards to social media), internationalisation and anything else that may be required to support a growing start-up. This is a great opportunity to join a team of enthusiastic professionals who are building a remote international digital strategy from the ground up, where you will have the opportunity to grow together with the team and at pace.




· To land links and coverage in top online publications and on relevant high-authority websites.

· Own the Digital PR KPIs and results for several clients.

· Understand what stories and content the press likes to cover (what makes news).

· Understand what stories, content and campaigns the wider industry creates and gets talked about/linked to.

· Be aware of what competitors are doing to land links and earned media placements.

· Spot opportunities to deliver above and beyond the link target and coverage or spot new hooks that can be used in innovative ways.

· Understand why we are building links for clients and how these impact their organic visibility.




· Deliver regular high-quality backlinks by researching, devising and executing digital PR and outreach campaigns.

· Research and contact websites that can provide back-link opportunities to clients.

· Writing press releases, by-lines, case studies and other press material.

· Send out press releases and contacting journalists with stories and content.

· Following up with journalists over phone, email and social.

· Building relationships with journalists and the media in a range of industries using a variety of tools.

· Building relationships with influencers across various industries

· Work closely with other team to make sure we create impactful PR strategies.

· You’ll create and research stories, strong media lists and monitor news and search for coverage opportunities.

· You will get to know your clients, developing detailed knowledge of their businesses and sectors.

· You will get to know your clients’ competitors, developing an overall knowledge of their PR activity and tactics.

· You will be proactive and work towards proactively seeking media opportunities for clients outside of any planned work.

· Use social media to help you grow your media relations, skill set and understanding of the industry.

· You’ll attend and contribute to regular brainstorms and come up with brilliant, creative and innovative ideas for your clients.

· Completing performance reports (PR, marketing, and social media)


Software skills:

· Cision/Gorkana/ResponseSource/HARO (important)

· Social media monitoring tools (important)

· Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets/Docs/Slides (essential)

· Majestic SEO, ahrefs, Semrush (useful)



· To ensure all client an internal KPIs are met on campaigns you are working on, delivering outstanding work.
