We’re thrilled to be assisting our client in their search for a Finance Manager, with WIP experience, who's ready and willing to get stuck in with every aspect of the financial side of this rapidly growing and profitable technology company.

As the Finance Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team as they take the next step on their expansion journey and you will play a pivotal part in helping to shape the business viability and commercial strength moving forward and help them to achieve their ambitious growth plans.
The role reports into the Finance Director and offers a real opportunity for the successful candidate to have a sense of ownership whilst working within a fun and flexible environment with tremendous potential to continually develop your role as this SME scales.


As an important part of the finance team, you’ll be responsible for driving the profitability and financial success of the business, covering a broad spectrum of responsibility and working closely with the Exec level analysing client account performance and partnering with various departments to guide forecasting.

  • Analysis & reporting of time WIP, utilisation and billing optimisation
  • Shaping, improving & implementing systems, processes, and metrics in a fast-growing business
  • Experience of time management systems
  • Production of timely monthly management accounts

  • Forecasting
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Cash Flow Management
  • Payroll (Outsourced) & VAT

  • Liaison with external advisors

The Ideal Person:

We are looking for a hands-on, adept, all-rounder who will be supported by the services team, in developing the management reporting and year-end accounting cycles.

  • A minimum of 3 years of WIP experience
  • Experience of working within a consultancy environment would be advantageous along with process implementation
  • Exposure to intercompany cross charging would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Committed to ensuring all projects and work started is seen through to completion
  • Solution-focused and extremely well organised
  • Critical and analytical thinking
  • Willing to work in a rapidly changing and growing environment
  • Excellent communication skills – listening and working well with colleagues
