Graduate Front-End Developer

  • Leeds City Centre

  • £21,000 - £25,000

Our client is a digital transformation business, specialising in web and Drupal. They believe in using the power of the web to make the world a better, more interesting place.

They encourage honesty, transparency, pragmatism and collaboration. They regularly re-evaluate how they work, based on feedback from clients and their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious software/web development graduate to put the theory you've learned about web development into practice in the real world and join a fast-growing team in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment.

Working alongside our more senior members of the team you will get your feet wet by helping work on existing projects, finding out how things work in a real agency.

Eventually building up your knowledge and confidence to be in control of your own projects.

The ideal candidate will be someone passionate about the web and ideally have been actively engaged in their local tech meetups and/or invested in self-teaching through online courses/tutorials.

  • Experience with Drupal (or Wordpress) theme development

Our client takes their culture seriously and works to the following principles:

  • The atmosphere at here is lively with discussion and debate. Everyone should feel like their voice is valued and heard in these discussions.
  • We make time to help each other, explaining why we are doing something in a certain way, with an understanding that what we are talking about may be outside of the other person’s understanding.
  • We work hard and take what we do seriously. Our clients depend on us to make what they do work. The more they trust us, the more they rely on us, and the more we will work with them.
  • We all make mistakes and admit to them. For this to happen, we all need to accept each other’s mistakes and be supportive rather than blaming. We focus on what we each need to improve and think of ways that will stop the same mistake in the future, sharing this openly so we can all learn from each other.
  • We all strive to be as good as we possibly can be and take responsibility for our own development. In turn, we will support you and provide as much time and resource to your development as we are able to.
  • We have fun, socialise and make time to do things together because we enjoy it.
