Are you a Graduate with a tech interest seeking a Leeds City centre role with a salary of up to £22k plus commission?!!!

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate graduate to join one of Yorkshires most exciting and fast-growing tech start-ups as a Graduate Sales Executive!

Our client is an intelligent online learning platform that helps organisations deliver personalised, effective, and engaging training, used by universities, schools, and businesses across a wide range of sectors.

The role of the Graduate Sales Executive will involve capturing leads from inbound enquiries and qualifying them - via live chat or over the phone and capturing their requirements. Depending on your level of experience and the complexity of the sale, you will then be responsible for either managing the closing part of that sale, or passing it onto a more senior member of the team, or technical team depending on the level of complexity. 

The client practices a ‘consultative selling’ approach to sales - they don’t ‘hard sell’, and  want you to build up a rapport with your leads and establish yourself as a source of authority on how the product works and how it can be used to solve the clients problems. 

This role will provide a unique opportunity for career progression and development,  working directly with the senior team members to help shape and define the client’s overall sales strategy. 

Skills & Traits

The ideal candidate will be somebody who:

  • Has some experience in using CRM software to manage a sales pipeline
  • Has some experience in calling and qualifying leads
  • Is diligent, detail-focused, and pro-active in their approach to work
  • Can manage their time effectively
  • Can adapt to new challenges, and work without much direction from time to time
  • Wants to constantly improve and grow within the company
  • Has an interest in and curiosity around technology/software - you don’t need to be a techie, but an interest in the product and the industry will be important

Roles & Responsibilities

The following list is not exhaustive, but should give you an idea of what the role will entail:

  • Responding to live chat (primarily) as well as email and phone sales enquiries which come in through the clients website. Qualifying these leads, qualifying them for sales, and teaching them about the product and services the client offers.
  • Demoing the  platform over Zoom, to show potential customers how it can be used to solve their problems. This may also extend to doing live webinars for groups of potential customers in the near future
  • Liaising with the marketing, product and technical teams as necessary to share the feedback you are getting from your sales calls
  • Running high-quality, tailored nurturing campaigns for ‘cold’ leads and helping to get them to re-engage with sales
  • Taking ownership of the early stages of the sales pipeline
