Job Title: Growth Marketeer / Demand Generation Manager

Hours: Full Time. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Reporting to: CEO

Salary: £45,000

 

Here at our company we have big plans regarding the products and services we are going to be providing to our Customers in the coming months and years. To ensure we are setup to successfully deliver upon these ambitious plans, we are looking to recruit several key roles into our business.

The Demand Manager is fundamental in these future plans. Marketing at our company is a blend of ensuring we are generating commercial demand, building our brand and awareness in the industry, and engaging our existing customer base. To do this, the Demand Generation Manager role is tasked with tactics that accelerate inbound and outbound campaign activity; planning and executing growth tactics across multiple channels. You will play a key role in rapidly growing reach, engagement, pipeline, revenue, and retention, impacting growth across the entire organization.

We are looking for someone who has experience acquiring valuable customers at scale through digital campaigns and a track record of delivering qualified leads. You will report to the CEO and work closely with the VP of Sales and refine our go to market activity to drive this growth. As part of the sales and marketing team you will deliver against targets. You will lead on digital marketing activities across all online channels, using your experience and data to help you make strong decisions.

You are sophisticated, articulate, a digital advocate with intuitive grasp of how to promote SaaS technology. Highly intelligent, literate, energetic, ambitious and hungry to help to build a global leader, you are a digital evangelist and you are drawn to a significant opportunity for wealth creation in a complex, fast moving environment.

You will be a highly impactful, growth-oriented marketer, who brings a proven track record of success within international, high-growth businesses. We are looking for someone with the ability to influence and inspire the existing Sales and marketing teams. You’ll be comfortable working with marketing automation tools such as Pardot and Salesforce CRM.

  • Proven track record of success in B2B marketing in international high-growth SaaS businesses. You will have a proven track record of growing customer bases/revenues/all marketing metrics in high-growth companies. You have operated across the whole marketing funnel (acquisition, engagement, retention) and a wide range of marketing channels.
  • Content and Positioning – created or repositioned a new entrant in a category - Clear focus on positioning and messaging supported by great content and thought leadership. You can cite experience of building a brand through effective storytelling and crafting a narrative to appeal to specific customer segments.
  • Commercial acumen and a data/KPI-driven approach. Able to evidence having deployed data-driven, ROI-based marketing activities. You will possess strong commercial acumen and be relentless in understanding how marketing activities drive revenue growth and other key success metrics.

  • A nice to have but not essential would be some understanding of BI tools, Big Data, AI, predictive analytics or associated equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing a comprehensive demand generation strategy which includes plans for regional, vertical, ICP and partner alliance campaigns
  • Spearhead the development and execution of inbound and outbound customer acquisition strategies across key geographies and territories, including multi-channel direct and channel acquisition programs such as search, display, email, social, direct mail, events, ABM, and content syndication
  • Build and manage best-in-class lead generation programs and optimization of Lead to Opportunity funnel
  • Assist in the development of content marketing and thought leadership programs and materials, and oversee all promotional planning in support of these programs
  • Communicate complex technology with eloquence and simplicity
  • Utilize and enhance all demand generation channels to include PPC, SEM, SEO, email, events, content syndication, lifecycle marketing, user conferences, webinars, and customer marketing
  • Devise innovative marketing campaigns across all channels including; events, collateral, advertising content, white papers, thought leadership pieces and contribution to proposals
  • Identify and manage relationships with external agencies, managing and monitoring output and analysing outcomes including ROI (Return on Investment)
  • Scale out a high performing, quantitative customer acquisition capabilities including campaign management, digital marketing, partner marketing and marketing operations
  • Report on the impact of demand generation investments on sales pipeline, bookings, and revenue
  • Work directly with Sales Representatives on custom ABM campaigns for key customer and prospect accounts.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on content and program development across the funnel: from demand, acceleration through renewals.
  • Create, execute, and analyze digital and account-based marketing programs to activate, engage, convert, and retain multiple customer segments.
  • Work with product, partner, and PR/events team to maximize yield from shared channels and programs.
  • Work with ops, sales, and marketing teams to ensure we are generating the right type and volume of sales leads and collecting high-quality data to understand performance
  • Build processes and frameworks that will scale with a growing organization
  • Develop and track comprehensive metrics reports and advise on the effectiveness and future direction of lead generation, marketing campaigns and spending

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in digital marketing, field sales and/or demand generation (B2B especially SaaS targeted lead gen)
  • Track record of successful marketing campaign development and execution on a global basis with a clear ROI model
  • Advanced expertise in B2B digital marketing, marketing automation, lead conversion, nurturing programs, and marketing analytics
  • Strong proficiency with leading marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Collaborative and creative – were a small company with ambitious plans!
  • Comfortable with operating in a target driven environment
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starting, strongly ambitious, and tenacious: willing to go the extra mile
