We’re delighted to be working with a high-performance marketing agency who due to rapid growth are on the search for an experienced Head of Social Media to join the Content Marketing team. Based in the heart of Leeds city centre, our client specialises in SEO, Data Analytics, Content Marketing, and Paid Media.

This is an exciting role, with the opportunity to work on global industry-leading clients, building out a service offering and team within the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading key client’s social media strategies
  • Managing client’s day to day social media accounts
  • Planning budgets and resource for campaign activity
  • Presenting strategies to clients and key stakeholders
  • Understanding client’s challenges and competitor activity
  • Keeping up to date with the news and industry changes
  • New business pitching
  • Data and audience research
  • Social listening and reporting
  • Analysing analytics data inform strategies
  • Project and time management, including delivery of work and campaign targets
  • Collaboration with agency and client teams to drive performance
  • Maintain active social media profiles

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in digital PR/SEO either in-house or agency side
  • Good understanding of core social channels (organic and paid)
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • A problem solver and a team player
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Experience of working with Social Media metrics
  • Evidence of Social Media tools used
