Job Title: Implementation Consultant

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Reporting to: COO

Salary: £40 - 45,000 D.O.E


Here at our company we have big plans regarding the products and services we are going to be providing to our customers in the coming months and years. Like many businesses, The company itself has gone through a transition of change in 2021. To ensure we are setup to successfully deliver upon these ambitious plans, we are looking to recruit several key roles into our business. 

The Implementation Consultant is fundamental in these future plans.  We are seeking a pragmatic, detail oriented and experienced BI /Analytics Consultant to join our growing Customer Success Function. The ideal person for this role loves to collaborate with other Data professionals, engineers, and business or operations experts to understand and address their data needs. Your ability to explain and document technical detail clearly will be particularly crucial.

You will share a passion for Data and how it can be used to develop Data Driven Businesses, innovative ideas and thrive in an environment that embraces collaboration with clients and internal teams to scope, plan and execute projects on time and within budget.

The focus of your role:

The focus of your role will be using our system to help clients optimise their business processes, improve operations and drive performance improvement. You will use your skills in data strategy and governance, to design data-driven solutions to our client’s problems and develop propositions for our customers. Areas of expertise will include visual analytics, data operating models, or delivery of AI solutions. Just as importantly, you will use your consulting skills to plan, manage and organise projects, deliver presentations to clients and work to tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

  • Build strong and positive relationships with clients at various levels.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast pace environment and organisational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
  • Exhibits prior and current technical expertise in BI technology and the ability to learn new technology
  • Experience ideally in consulting; delivering agile projects, including planning and implementing solutions with data, analytics or BI at the core
  • In-depth technical expertise and sector knowledge combined with project delivery experience
  • Architectural/ feature knowledge of one or more of the listed AI Platforms: GCP; AWS; Microsoft Azure;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and have experience enabling client departments to understand and deliver better value from their data
  • Experience managing end to end BI projects (supervised & unsupervised) with both structured & unstructured data
  • Demonstrated thought-leadership for translating data into action and providing business insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to be outstanding in a client-focused environment.
  • Educated to degree level or possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a BI Consultancy / software environment
  • Driving license and be willing to travel at short notice.
  • Skills: SQL PL/SQL (Databases Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM, Sybase, MySQL, PostgesSQL) NoSQL (Hadoop, Amazon)
