In House Tech recruiter/ Talent Acquisition Specialist

£35 - £45K


We’re thrilled to be assisting our Tech scaling client in their search for a Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Inhouse Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the whole candidate experience, from advert to offer, making sure all recruitment is on brand and hiring the right fit for this fantastic Tech consultancy.

The creation of this role is due to rapid growth and  future plans to successfully scale the business. Reporting to the Head of People and working closely with managers, this role brings Talent Plan alive by ensuring there is a strong talent pool of candidates who can fulfil current and future recruitment needs.   


  • Designing, creating and writing compelling ads for all roles;
  • Creating compelling recruitment campaigns using a variety of media for all roles in line with our capacity plan;
  • Ensuring all campaigns meet our values and are focused on equality, diversity and inclusion;
  • Delivering the overarching Talent Acquisition plan to ensure the company meets its wider aims and objectives;
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with agencies;
  • Creating a talent base and pipeline for all roles to meet current needs;
  • Working with the Head of People to create a talent base and pipeline for future needs in line with the longer-term Talent Acquisition plan;
  • Support and deliver innovative ways to reach talent that may not be on the open market in conjunction with enhancing company’s brand;
  • Ensuring all ads are posted through the Talent Management System and are on brand;
  • Maintaining and updating the Talent Management System;
  • Developing new recruitment procedures as needed;
  • Designing and delivering effective interview strategies, including conducting telephone interviews or running assessments;
  • Coaching and training staff who recruit in our processes and best practice;
  • Mentoring and assisting in the development of others as needed;
  • Creating, implementing and reporting on relevant recruitment KPIs;
  • Providing relevant recruitment related stats and information to help the company understand its talent related costs.

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar recruitment-based role;
  • Ideally a good understanding of the Tech sector;
  • Ideally previous experience working in a consultancy;
  • Demonstrable evidence of business/commercial understanding;
  • Proven track record of meeting targets;
  • Proven ability to develop recruitment strategies that work;
  • Strong focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, with a strong understanding of what drives this;
  • Excellent organisational and efficient administrative skills with ability to prioritise;
  • Strong ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities;
  • Proven ability to use multiple mediums to drive recruitment campaigns;
  • Strong knowledge of using social media to drive results;
  • Ideally some experience of meaningful job design (not essential).
