Senior Project Manager

We're looking for a great senior digital project manager to join our enthusiastic team, and work with us on award-winning projects for clients such as Channel 4, The Design Council, Science Museum Group, Blue Cross and Goldsmiths University.

Our project managers work within multidisciplinary project teams, run according to our agile-influenced methodology. The role combines project, production and client management:

  • They lead the team, empowering them to do their best work.
  • They engage with both the big picture and the details.
  • They are empathetic to the client’s needs and concerns.
  • They emphasise user experience, placing the needs of the user at the forefront.

Project management

  • Lead the team in creating and iterating a project roadmap that is continuously kept up to date.
  • Facilitate ongoing assessment and iteration of the work and help to detect problems and opportunities early on.

Finance management and project accounting

  • Run project tracking and internal reporting processes.
  • Use data and client/team input to make collective decisions about priority and effort.

Communication, teamwork and client management

  • Facilitate the communication between and within internal and client teams and stakeholders.
  • Focus both on the immediate project, and the client’s wider and longer-term concerns and priorities, in order to create more opportunities to work with them on new projects.

Technical understanding and user experience planning

  • Understand and explain to the team and the client why something should be done, as well as how it’s achieved technically and creatively.
  • Lead the team to validate and iterate user experience design during all stages of the project process.

We'd love to meet people with at least five years senior project management experience in delivering UX-focused digital web projects with budgets around £50k-300k.

It’s likely that you have come from a development background and can hold your own in technical conversations, suggesting new approaches to problems and helping the team get the most out of each other’s skills. However, you’re also full of creative ideas and love engaging with people, be that your team or a client.

You’ll join a passionate, dedicated team working on projects they love and care about. You’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits package, including regular nights out, company lunches, away days, and other fun social things!
